Here at Budget Film Production and Special Events Rentals, we try to make renting cars and trucks for your film, television, commercial and special events productions as easy as possible.

We've provided a list of our most Frequently Asked Questions below, but if you have additional questions that aren't answered here, please contact us and we'd be happy to help.


What are your hours of operation?
7am to 6pm every day. Closed on Christmas Day.

Where do customers park personal vehicles at your office?
Street parking is available. It's more efficient if you can arrange for someone to drop you off.

Do I need to have my driver's license to pick up a car for production?
Yes, a valid driver's license must be presented every time a vehicle is picked up.

Can you deliver a vehicle?
Yes, prompt vehicle delivery and pick up service is available in the lower mainland. A delivery/pick up fee may be charged for vehicles required outside the Lower Mainland.

Is there an extra fee for company drivers to drive the vehicles?
No, all company employees over 19 years of age with a valid driver's license are permitted to drive at no extra charge.

How many pounds can I lift with a tailgate?
Maximum 1300 pounds/590kilograms.

Can I reserve a truck with a tailgate?
Yes. Every effort is made to get you the vehicle you require.

Do you supply baby seats?
We provide CSA approved baby seats upon request. We will need to know how much the child weighs to ensure you get the right size.

Do you provide hitches?
We have vehicles equipped for towing. However you will need to provide the hitch.

Is GPS available?
Yes, GPS and Navigational Systems are available on select vehicles.

Is Third Party Liability included?
Yes, 5 million dollars third party liability is included in the basic cost of the rental.

What does LDW cover?
LDW covers most collision damage. It may not cover tires and rims. It never covers any box damage. See our LDW Option page for more details.
